We like EULA; you'll like them too

Thursday, Oct. 7: Eula @ Arch Street Tavern, Hartford

We've heard good things about Eula around Facebook and such, but haven't yet had the chance to check them out live. So we're excited to see they'll be playing in Hartford this Thursday in conjunction with The Hartford Party Starters and the Needle Drop. Eula are a lady-fronted lo-fi three-piece punk band. They're raucous and crusty and remind us of other screamy, dissonant female-voiced things we've heard like Jucifer and Sonic Youth. This is out of character for downtown Hartford, so do us, them and yourselves a favor and be there. Let's have things work out in Hartford for a band that doesn't play blues or covers.

Procedure Club are playing too, but they didn't send us any helpful emails.
